INTENTION 9.5 SUMMER CAMP: Planning
Meeting in Vancouver
Camp happens at Crystal Creek, Mount Elphinstone,
Sunshine Coast, BC
The July 4 weekend is a chance for the family to
draw near to connectivate, feel the uplifts as we
come together to share our gifts.
Intention at its roots is a preparation for the
future embodied in the here and now. Each gathering
is practice for how we want to live our highest
dreams in an ever maturing community wherever that
may be. It seems that intentional community has
indeed evolved and sunk its roots connecting many
beings and networks who have attended the retreats
over the past 9 years spanning provinces and
national boundaries.
Immersion into the "container" created allows a
chance to feel safe, to interact, and expand the
horizons of your expression through art, music, a
workshop, crafts, food and 2 evenings of dance, one
high energy and another on the chill side. Unlike
the mostly cosey indoor feeling of the winter
retreat, the summer camp takes us into communion
with tall trees, as creek and the whisper of the
fresh air wind caress. The call of the raven, the
craw of the crow, eagles screech from high above as
the forest dwellers gaze upon our unfolding rapture.
This summer Crystal Creek will be graced with the
Entheos Conference and Festival, Intention 9.5 and
Water Woman making this a powerful year of
activation of the magic of the crown jewel summer
gathering location of the lower mainland.
Intention, opening portals to new dimensions wide
9.5, almost a decade keeping the flame of hope alive
Let our dance and our combined presence be an
offering to the spirit of life to the magic we are
weaving in the world to reduce the strife./

The Moss & Sauce Collective presents SUMMER JAM!
Empowering Day Camp for 7- to 11-year-olds
A fun, discovery-based Summer day camp for 7-11 year
olds near Jericho Beach in Vancouver.
When: July 2 -July 18 and July 28 - August 15
(two 3-week sessions)
10am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
Where: Jericho Hill Centre, 4196 W. 4th Ave
(across from Jericho Park and Beach)
Why: to learn new skills, explore new perspectives,
and grow as individuals
in an atmosphere of support, respect, friendship and
fun!
At Summer Jam we get outdoors and get creative as we
explore our selves, our community and our
environment -- while having tons of fun! Each day, a
group of 18 participants and 5 exuberant staff
engage in creative activities, group games, and
collaborative projects. We practice communication,
decision-making, cooperation and leadership skills,
and enjoy the friendships that emerge along the way.
From Concept to Clean-Up!
We meet in a community Circle every morning to
discuss possible activities for the day: games,
theatre, arts, music, sports, science projects, what
else can you think of? We choose activities that
interest us, individually or in a group, and we
discover how to put ideas into action, making
decisions and being responsible for projects all
along the way - from concept to clean-up!
Love outdoors!
We do! We spend lots of time outside in Jericho Park
and on Jericho Beach.
One day each week, everyone joins in a fun and safe
hiking expedition in Vancouver's local mountains.
For the love of Growing Ourselves Together!

Authentic Movement and Performance: Led by Tannis
Hugill
6-8 pm
Suite 211, 207 West Hastings (Dominion Building)
Authentic Movement is a movement practice in the
presence of a supportive witness. By entering the
world of the body, we open to every aspect of human
experience, thus enriching creative exploration, as
well as increasing awareness and trust of the body.
The basic structure is a dyad between mover and
witness. In the presence of a supportive witness,
the mover delves into the body to bring out inner
impulses as movement, sound, and gesture. A sharing
interaction provides each with a deeply felt
acceptance.
By honoring the body's wisdom, Authentic Movement is
especially useful for dancers, actors and performers
of all kinds, because it mirrors the
performer-audience relationship and nourishes our
longing to be seen and valued for who we truly are.
Tannis Hugill is a dance and drama therapist, and
creator of ritual performance. She teaches Authentic
Movement to enhance personal, artistic and spiritual
growth. Over thirty years as an experimental theatre
artist enriches her passion to help others
experience the creativity and healing wisdom of
their bodies.

Indian Head Massage Workshop -
The Prema Method
What is Indian Head Massage?
The Indian Head Massage has been practiced in India
for thousands of years. While it is still fairly new
to Canada, it is quickly becoming the massage of
choice for many.
An Indian Head Massage starts with the client
sitting in a comfortable chair for the duration of
the one-hour treatment. It begins with a deep
kneading and probing of the back, arms, neck and
shoulder muscles. The head is then worked with the
scalp being squeezed, rubbed, gently tapped and
prodded. Pressure points are gently worked on, the
ears are tugged and pressed, and the face is
massaged last; working with the acupressure points
to help relieve any sinus pressure, stimulate the
circulation, and to increase alertness.
Who Can Study Indian Head Massage?
No prior experience in massage or bodywork is
required; there are no pre-requisites for this
course. It is perfect for a holistic practitioner,
spa owner/worker, registered massage therapist,
Aromatherapist, Reflexologist, hair stylist or
anyone wanting to get started in holistic healing.
All are welcome.
About the Course
The course begins for 2 hours on Friday evening
discussing the history & theoretical aspects of the
massage. Saturday and Sunday will be full with
practical instruction of techniques and hands on
learning. There will be reading materials to be read
prior to the course, one week before the course
begins.
The cost of the course is $400. This includes GST,
course manual, and certificate. The class is limited
to 6 students.
To receive your certificate, you must give 20
massages complete with feedback and signatures
within 8 weeks of completing the course. Your final
exam will be giving a massage to the instructor.
Students wanting to receive an Indian Head Massage
from Bliss Prema can do so at a discounted price.
Workshop Dates: July 11th, 12th & 13th
About the Teacher
Bliss Prema is a Reiki Master who trained for the
Indian Head Massage in San Marcos, Guatemala. She
has been practicing and teaching the Indian Head
Massage for almost 3 years. Bliss is also a yoga
instructor, trained through the Sivananda School in
Madurai, India. Masterfully combining all three
skills, she has gained the attention of many
reputable sources including CBC Radio & Television,
The Vancouver Sun and The Georgia Straight, to name
a few.
Tickets are now at outlets in Vancouver, Victoria,
Nanaimo, Courtenay, Roberts Creek, Powell River and
Texada. A reminder that ticket prices will be rising
